Topbox Review June 2016

This was the first Topbox that I subscribed to, this is also my first review so feel free to leave some suggestions in the comment section!

Topbox is a $12 personalized monthly subscription box that is based in Canada. They include all things beauty. You can subscribe to receive your own beauty box at http://www.topbox.ca

Here are the items I received and how I felt about them:

O.R.G Skincare: Mineral Face with Brightening Agents (56.7g $49)

Sample size: 5 mL $9.80

Pros: It left my skin feeling really soft and clean immediately after using.

Cons: The small spray bottle shoots a very strong stream, which makes it hard to control. It also sprays a lot of product at once, which made it very runny.

OFRA Cosmetics: Lipliner (1.13g $17.25)

Pros: It is very soft and super easy to apply. It is also in the colour “wine”, which is a very neutral colour, so it was easy to pair with multiple lipsticks.

Cons: Because of how soft the lipliner is, it is very easy to squish and ruin.

Amika: Perk Up Dry Shampoo (156 mL $29)

Sample size: 0.75 oz $4.13

Pros: This was my favourite product in this month’s box. I love using dry shampoo, but because I have really dark hair dry shampoo often leaves white powder in my hair. This shampoo did not leave white powder in my hair. It also lasted a very long time throughout the entire day, which I was not expecting.

Cons: It does have a very strong floral scent. It is not something that I really minded, but I could have done without it.

Doctor Babor: Derma Cellular Collagen Booster Cream (50 mL $154)

Sample size: 15 mL $10.27

Pros: I used this cream before my makeup routine. It left my skin feeling extremely silky. I also really enjoyed the slight citrus smell.

Cons: My face had a sticky residue left for a while afterwards.
